[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another one of the many windows I spotted while walking through the city of Chania, northern Crete. This window is rusty and ugly, yet I think the wall with its patches of naked bricks gives it a certain beauty.

Hi Gert,
You seem to have everything in exactly the right place in this photo. No cropping or sharpening or whatever possible treatment is necessary.

Gunnar

J'aime beaucoup les clichés "vestiges" tels que celui ci... On y voit la main de l'homme et le travail que le temps à fait... les couleurs, le détail des matières... J'aime beaucoup.
Bravo et merci pour le partage.
Luc.

I like taking shots similar to this one; windows, doors, etc. Although I've never got around to uploading them. Maybe this one will inspire me to do so. Thanks.

Hej Gert,
allegorically speaking, this window may remind a face of a very old old tired person - the "face" of an old building. A tired face, worn-out face.. but still existing.
Good colours, good sharpness... everything is in its right place in the photo :)
thank you for showing windows in your photos! Few people pay attention to windows. But they are also part of history.
regards,
Elena
