[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took this a couple of years ago when I first started with photography. I used the Olympus C770UZ. It is actually a 3 picture panorama.
The picture was taken in Aegina. A small but beautiful island. Aegina is also very historical. It was inhabited since 3000 BC. A beautiful well preserved temple (Afaia's Temple) can be found on the island as well as many ancient monuments.
Aegina was also the first official capital of Greece.
Aegina is now a beautiful touristic island with great architecture just an hour away from Athens.
It is also the major pistachio producer of Greece. The quality of the pistachio nuts of Aegina is legendary. The greek name of pistachio (aiginitiko) means "From Aegina"
This picture was taken on board a ferry boat when I was leaving Aegina, another ferry boat had already departed and I liked the way it was facing towards the sun that was seting.

Hi Alexandros,

Great photo! Very nice quality, soft sky, wonderful colours and gradual tone changes. This photo shows well that not only dSLR's can create great images, the Oly C770 did a great job here. And you've stitched it well. I like the light on the water and the composition, the sun and boat placed nicely close to a edge. Very well done.

πολύ ωραίο το δειλινό που αποθανάτισες αλλα θα ήταν πολύ καλύτερο εαν το τραβούσες μόλις ο ήλιος είχε δύσει ή εν χρησιμοποιούσες ένα πολωτικό φίλτρο.Κατά τα άλλα είναι μιά καλά ισορροπημένη φωτογραφία με το πλοίο και τον ορίζοντα στη σωστή θέση.
