Hi Evan. A good shot of desertion! There are plenty of such deserted houses in villages and even in towns almost everywhere. Someone built them, gennext deserted them -- some out of volition, some out of compulsion. Out migration for a variety of reasons perhaps is the leading cause. Painful but factual. TFS. Regards.

Hello Evan,
A nice angle on this abandoned house that shows off the architecture to best advantage. It looks as if it dates from the 1920's or 1930's; pity it has been allowed to deteriorate so. TFS.

Very interesting building, nicely captured. I must say that I am surprised that this is in a village, looks more like an early 20th century suburban Athens home (e.g. Kifissia). And I am particularly suprised at the nicely paved sidewalk (!) in front.

Άσχημο πράγμα η εγκατάλειψη. Φαντάσου αυτό το κτίριο αναπαλαιωμένο.
Πολύ καλό το ταίριασμα του μελαγχολικού καιρού με το εγκατάλειμένο σπίτι.

Gute Aufnahme mit dem versetzten Eingang und schöne kräftige Farben. Mir gefällt die Gestaltung mit dem Baum direkt vor dem Haus und den überall sehr guten Kontrasten.

κακό πράγμα η εγκατάλειψη και η ερημιά γενικώς και ειδικά για αυτό το αρχοντόσπιτο.Ωραία η απεικόνιση του σπιτιού αλλά θα ήθελα ειδικά ο ουρανός να ήταν λιγότερο φωτισμένος.Η μηχανή σου έχει αυτή την δυνατότητα(με το * memory).

it is interesting how the other elements interact with that beautiful old building .. all add their own thoughts .. the cloudy sky .. the budding tree .. really interesting time to shoot this.
