Photographer’s Note

Hi there,

A quick share, just to add something today.
I just hope you like it..

Ionian Blue is also the name of a hotel on Lefkada, which is the island where I stayed on my holiday. Just visited Ithaca/Ithaki one day, went there per ferryline.

See yesterday's shot. Taken from 250 meter high plateau, an abandoned place, some buildings left, but very lonely.

You can see a few sailboats down there..
Maybe there's not so much depth in it, but whatever, let's share it :) I like to show Greece.

The blue of the sea is one of the main characteristics of the Greek coast and here you show it well with a perfect high point of view offering us this islet in front of the coast. The inclusion of the ship is perfect in order to create a nice composition,

Hey Emiel,
Ionian blue should be added as a colour palette here in photography. The tone is uniquely different from the oher blues I've seen. The colour is deep, not too dark and yet very lively. The shade somehow is very distinctively greek.

Another fantastic POV showcasing the picturesque greek isles. Great PP work, levels are well tweaked, very natural!

Yes, it's another from your 'bird's view' series, fine as usual. The blue is just breathtaking. You said 'let's add something quickly' ? Well, it seems to me like a very good photo to be proud of, rather than a quick addition :)
