A fine black and white with a well brought feeling of old courtyard. The humans are necessary of course and you caught them in a funny combination of poses that gives a comical twitch.

Hi Thomas,
wonderful shot and wonderful perspective play with the stones of the pavement. I like the frozen action position of the boys, especially the one that shoots the ball is in a impossible position... seems like floatin on air... like moon walking... wonderful!
Have a nice day,

Πολύ ωραί α εικόνα Θωμά με τα παιδιά να έχουν αυτές τις χορευτικές φιγούρες σε αυτόν τον περίγυρο. Δείχνει εντυπωσιακή.

Love this.
The pure graphics of the bricks.
The rich variety of shades and whites.
And those players - like illusory phantoms playing with their ghosts.
No ball to kick?
They don't need the ball.
They are there to help YOU to create a great photo.
Have a great Sunday, Thomas

Hi THomas !
Nice shot of playing football without a ball.
Good timing and good composition with the interesting wall and window in the background. The little boy seems not to be verry interested in the game.

Hi Thomas,
even if I would love to see the coloured version I like the sight of the boys playing there next to the big wall of the church.
What I like is the way the little boy on the left looks and walks out of the main scenery.
That's a nice detail of the compo.

Hello Thomas.
Nice B&W work here. The brickwork detials are really well highlighted in this medium. The small edge of wall to the left and the larger along the right give your photo some depth...along with the tiles on the ground. The window on the right of the wall breaking up that stark facade.
Hard to play football with the ball!!

Hi Thoma, the missing ball actually makes this shot, it introduces a very nice disjointedness as if the boys are working out or something. The compo is spot with its frozen action and graphically very pleasing. Details and b/w rendition are great too.
Congrats!
Have a nice start of the week,

Hi Thomas
Good black and white shot catching the action of these boys. The technical quality of the shot is great and the framing and timing are great too. The freezing of the action conveys a good sense of motion too. Good work.

Situation is well framed, and captured with fine details...

It's like the "Spot-the-ball" competitions where we have to mark with a cross where we think the ball is. Excellent action shot of the boys playing football. Very good detail and sharpness.

Hi Thomas
Nice compo with an even better background. I'm not really too intersted in the 'football' but mainly the textures behind. I like the patterns of the structure and the way they contrast with the four children. And I find the square window matches the square ground very well. A nice pic with lots of details. Gd job!

NIce street scene with the boys showing a lot of action, it's just strange that the ball is missing. Nice framing with the kids in front and a nice texturized wall behind.

Daniel.

A simple but lovely shot, with obviously a lot of dynamism, and the absence of the ball in the frame even increases this feeling. Very good to have all these squares on the pavement and on the wall. Good work!

Hello Thomas,
A beautiful capture of these boys playing football.
I like the textures of the stoned walls and the fact that you only see the boys in defferent postions and no ball.
Nice choise for the B&W here and also a very good contrast.

Olá Thomas, you are a master of atmospheres. This playground is delicious, with the kids in such dynamic poses, beautiful textured walls, graphic ground and a very well chosen b/w convertion. It's an excellent capture and the absence of the ball is a smart input. I love it!

Hi Thomas,
Where you hide the ball? It seems it’s on next wall for me. This is great composition at front of stone walls with their great textures. Boys and their natural poses; Working B&W is adds great value to your frame with Scott Walker’s poem. Congratulations.

Hi Thomas,
Great composition on this outstanding B&W that enfasized the nice stoned wall and floor. You caought a nice moment from the boys, they are simetrically disposed on the frame. Their body postures tell us about the joy and effort they're putting on the game, and the little one that seem to be totally out of the situtation just reflect very well the hard time the yougsters have tring to follow the olders plays... Congrats for this well executed picture.
Cheers,
Flavia

Hi Thomas,
Nice one...
I like the ambiance and these children playing without ball ;) ! The choice of B/W is really good and give personality to your composition. The background is beautiful as well. A really nice picture. I like it very much.
Go on like that... It's always very pleasant to admire your compositions. And I say (rather I write) it once again... I like your notes and explanations very very much :-)

Dear Thomas,
Usually, I read almost all the critiques before doing mine. Not that they influenced that much what I want to say. But, I try not to repeat what have been said twenty times in a row. But you got too many critiques and I feel lazy tonight. So, I hope you will excuse my laziness and maybe my non-originality...
Squares, squares and squares. No wonder the ball did not want to appear in this photo! ;) Thankfully, there is these boy children playing around, giving some curves to this otherwise "orderly" environment. I like how the little one on the left is looking in the other direction! Maybe he is the one who will find the ball at the end... Who knows?
Four protagonists. A future square?

Really a good quesiton. Where is the ball?
Even without ball a good daily life picture. The composition is good too and I think that the black and white was the best choose.
Thanks for share.

Just the thought of how many children, how many generations of children played under these walls in the same ally, amazes me. The play of children through the ages is only a good and hopeful sign.Very sensitive picture, i like the warm feeling of it.Good work mate
