Got caught by the reptile-ish structures of the blisterering paint and the marks of alterations and aging...

I like how ther is only wood – except that rusty ring – with lines and holes. Very beautiful color and texture, too. Well framed.

An excellent study in texture and detail, Edwin. Fine colors, and I like how some small brown/rusty elements interfere with the otherwise "wood-only" view. Fine light shining on that door.

Just for fun, I'm attaching a WS version where I tried to emphasize those aspects even more (a la Yitzhak style, if you will). I hope you don't think I overdid it.

beatiful colors and texture...I liked several keyholes probably not used anymore..and the trail of an old handle...looks like the door of a deserted place ? was it ?

I love old flaking paint and this is a great example. I like how you composed it, keeping the cross off centre.

nice picture, very warm colors, interesting composition - all those lines making a cross shape. I wish the picture was a bit sharper though - now seems to be too soft a bit - like slighty out of focus - but maybe it is just my impression. anyway, very nice and aesthetic picture

Het idee alleen om dit te fotograferen is prachtig Edwin, hoe mooi de datail en de hout structure te zien zijn, het lijstwerk en de oude nagel gaten, prachtig gezien, oog voor detail.

Mooi tekstuur en onderwerp! A small nit - the white part is a bit over exposed. I am sure you can cure it in PS with contrast etc.

Excellent exposure and contrasy on that door, Wdwin. The kight makes the colors very pale and rich with tones. I like theunpated areas and the rusty ring. Well framed too. Well seen and done, Edwin.

i love photos of doors; I do have quite a few in my archives too. this one is excellent in its compo, its focus and its framing; excellent job! out of points today

Excelent colors and textures. I like a lot the small reddish elements that contrast with the overall green.

Also the slightly uncentered compositon creates a balanced image.
