Photographer’s Note
Located at a walking distance from Syntagma Square in Athens. This is the biggest Temple of antiquity and is dedicated to Zeus - the father of the Gods. The imposing columns of the temple were magnificient. This was shot from inside the ruins, and the contrasting standing and fallen pillars caught my eye.
The area also houses the Hadrians Arch and is right outside one of the gates. One can also see the Acroplois stand tall in the distance.
When you visit Athens, make sure you purchase a combined ticket to see all the places. It costs about 12 Euros but only 6 if you have a valid student id.
