Photographer’s Note

This was on my last day in Kos. A beautiful sunset. The days before it was pretty cloudy, but this night there were no clouds so you could see a beautiful sunset.

I took about 18 pictures and this is one of 3 that looks pretty nice. I had a lot of trouble with taking pictures towards the sun, so I tried different flash-modes to make it work. In this picture I used the red eye reduction.

Hoi Lieke,

Mooie zachte pastel kleuren in de lucht en de silhoutte van de bergen. Misschien zou de foto iets mooier zijn als je de horizon op 1/3 van de onderkant had. Je ziet ook hier dat (heb ik ook deze week geleerd) je rond deze tijd de beste belichting hebt voor fotografie. Als de zon net op is of bijna onder is. Hij is mooi! En geen rooie ogen! Gilbert

Mooie zonsondergang hoor, mooie kleuren. De zon staat wel erg in het midden, de horizon had inderdaad wat omhoog gekund, daarnaast vind ik de panorama-alike workshop ook wel mooi. Hoewel mooi gekleurd, zegt het groot stuk lucht verder namelijk weinig, vandaar dat iets meer voorgrond misschien beter had uitgepakt, desondanks mooie shot hoor!
