I have seen a couple of pictures of this beautiful beach, they were all taken from above, therefor I just had to post this one.
This picture is far from perfect, it´s a typical tourist-shot, but I love it anyway because of the memories I have from this trip.
And the colours of this spectacular place is truly amazing. I recently heard that this beach has been chosen as one of the best beaches in the world by Lonely Planet, and I must say I agree.
The only way to reach it is by boat, the white beach is hidden in the mountains and on the beach lies a shipwreck. The story tells that it was some tobacco smugglers who stranded here 100 of years ago.
To the tech - this pic is shot with my boyfriends camera, a very small and very bad APS camera. Did some adjustments in PS to give justice to this beautiful place, unsharpmask, resized and cut, increasde colour of sky a bit, the blue was lost in that stupid APS camera!

What a diferent place from your usual shots.. It look nice but I have to say that I like Iceland or Sweden better. May be I would crop it a bit. Nice colors though...

Beautyful... :)

Well, if the camera was so bad as you wrote, you managed to get a great pos processing work Frida! I love this place and knowing that the only way to get there is by a boat...well, it turns it even more special. The colors seem good to me aand the ddiferent layers you managed to get here created a great composition. I think a crop on the sky would be equally beautiful. A good return Frida :)

the colours all speak of tropical beach..you have rescued it well..i dont seem to be able to find out where it is..
there is a spot in tenerife a bit like this at masca.
cheers

Amazing hues, a little soft on focus though. Was there a picture of this beach from above in someone else's earlier post?

I like it. The color of the water is magic. You can crop the top of the photograph to have the beach at 1/3 of the top... Nevertheless, it's a nice photograph.

Great colours and composition.
Simple yet effective.

What a blue! I have seen it many times here in Greece but i cannot catch it! i will not agree that is far from perfect, it is near perfect the waters , the beach , the clouds...

Very beautiful!

Great colors and contrast.
You have got the feeling of diving there.

Even though this is something I see everyday on my work I just can't get enough of it. Deep blue sky, clear blue water and a white beach... Perfect... I like the composition of the picture. Maybe you should have croped it a little bit more on the height.

Hope your boyfriend doesn't know about your note saying how bad his camera was :)
Nature can be beautiful in many ways. While this beach has steep rocky cliff, some sand and azure sea, it is just as beautiful as most Asian beaches with its coconut fringed beaches and sandy beaches.
