Ways..Or choices if you like..Always trying to find what is heard better to your ears..Always trying to seduce you and make you lose the "target" you had long ago set..But in the end who can really tell you what to do?..And whose will is stronger than your own inner power of will?....Noone...

Second of the three days off I had..Second little trip and for once more a little adventure..Mystras..A castle-city in Laconia..A fort more than 700 years old that now coexist silently with the nature around..A huge city built on a hill..And three fortification levels to the top..Castles,inside the castle you can say..And all of these built to the most breath-taking place of the entire area..Trully wonderful..

The third day off was better than the others..Many km's for once more, you see I live in Elia and it is more than 80km away from Mystras but the weather was almost perfect and the course has many things for someone to see..To be true I was a bit moody but believe me when you get there you forget anything you may have..I have being there many times..But every time you have something new to see..Just wonderful..A place you have to visit at least once in your life..

Hi Nikos,
Nice POV on this "stairway to heaven" ;-)
The sky makes a great background on wich the ruins contrast in a very beautidul way.

Hi!
Good photo!
I'm crazy about historic places, ans this photo is perfect. Honestly I like it a lot, speccially the colours and the note. It´s excelent. I chose the left one.

Kisses

Nice capture of both the stairways making it a decisive moment for the viewers. Hmmm ..Which one should I choose?Beautiful combination of the ruins and perfect skies.Thks for sharing,Nikos!

Beautiful composition, I liked muito. As colors very are well balanced, however contrasting, however alleviating the images

Choices!... Our whole life is made of them! How do you know you made the right one? And who can tell how it would have been if you've followed the other way?
"And who can say
where the road goes,
Where the day flows?
Only time..."
Very well emphasized the texture of the walls, warm colours, original POV. Congratulation!

Hi, Nikos,
Beautiful point of view here, I also like the sharpness and the colors!
greetings! :)

Hello.
The fortress of Mystra is so beautiful that it's difficult to concentrate on a particular point to bring back a good shot. I experienced that the first times I went there and I did not managed to focus my attention of great details and always tried to have the more possible within a picture. That was an error (I was a beginner !) because it is such a large and impressive place that most of the good pictures of Mystra I've seen are pictures of details, as yours.
I like the wonderful light and contrast you captured, and the superb textures of old stone walls. The perspective is also superb and increases the impressive aspect of the ruins.
Many thanks for sharing !

Excellent composition, nice saturated colors, perfect sharpness...an other one of your masterpieces. The n ote makes great reading.
Congratulations.
John

Well spotted Nikos
nice natural framing, always good for someone to relax between those ancient walls.
Nice one. Warm regards, Stella
