Areopoli

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Areopoli (Greek: Αρεόπολη) is the second largest town in Mani. The word areopoli means "city of Ares", the ancient Greek god of war. It is the seat of Oitylo municipality as well as Oitylo Province. However, Areopoli was not always the name of the city. Tsimova was Areopli's first name. The Greek War of Independence was started at Areopli on the 21st of March 1821 by the bay of Mani Petros Mavromichalis. Now Areopoli has grown into a flourishing town. |

Attractive colours, but you could have altered the balance to tone down the blue hue. Its a shame you didnt level the picture to have a horizontal waterline. A bit more effort and you would have realised the full potential of this attractive picture. I have had a go at these corrections in my workshop.
great composition...great colours
thank you
y.g probably a rotation will help a little bit for the photo to have a horizontal waterline
charming photo with charming colors! i think it would look better if it wasn't tilted like it is...bit distracting in fully enjoying the images in the photo.

Michal, this is not Areopoli, but Githeio and this is LAconia region, not Messinia.
Areopoli is 20 km southest!!!
Your horizon is so much out of line!
Tilted to hell horizon...
Wrong location and of course informations into your note...
Psychedelic colors...
I think it's time to repost the proper version and change your location & note or to delete it...
MIchal, nice colours, but the photo is slanting slightly.
and yes, this is gythio, not areopoli. Areopoli is a city made of stone! no colours there!
but anyway, nice photo!
