The island of Crete is a popular tourist destination, for its ancient legends and its architecture (and it appears for shopping too). It can be a lot for a tourist to take in at once, making them tired and in need of a good rest. Benches make the perfect device for such moments of quiet contemplation.

Hello again Richard.
You truly bring fact to your profile, you said you travel much. Well I have yet to disprove that! :)
Greece seems like the perfect tourist destination, something for everyone.

About this photo:
In my opinion it is too crowded with features. The bench might be the point of focus, but I feel it gets drowned in all the other features of the photograph:
The cars to the left, the people to the right, the ocean to teh right and so on.
