"who can say, why today tomorrow will be yesterday?"
Although we spent almost every year a few weeks in Greece, I never realy took time for visit Athens, except some "obligatory" places. The mostly I know is the way from the airport to the marina and back, or the way to our friends.
No, if I'm honest, it's a bit more, but still very little.
Others this year. Before we took the flight home, we have two days for friends and the town. And have a wonderful walk round around the Acropolis, across the little streets of Plaka, breathing the atmospher of the fortunately not destroyed old Athens.
There are some places where time seems to stay still, as you can see here, in this small place.
Coming from a narrow street, saw them, and immediatly retired behind the corner, made my preparations, and succeded to take a shot without to disturbe their thoughts.
What were they thinking about?
Let your phantasy free...
Or simply enjoy the calm

Nice and interesting picture, Janos, not at all "obligatory" one from Athens. Very well compositionally divided area of the picture, closed space with moderate colours, with the very basic natural (ancient) materials: stone, iron and wood. The shot is obviously "stolen" from the "models" and it is good - they are deeply in their own world of thoughts, with no relation to the photographer, nothing disturbed the eternal harmony of this modest place and its current inhabitants.
I understand your title as lovingly funny, but I would prefer to simply enjoy the calm.

Les trois éléments (escalier, arbre et hommes) sur fond de pierre donnent vie à cette image. Les hommes semblent prier...
Merci à toi,

Nice compostion here the steps leading you down to the people at the bottom. Perfect except for the lampost on the far right which i find a little disctracting. Other than that very intersting view of Athens. Very unique

I like very much your ideas about old things, civilization, etc. It reminds me that there are people with logic and spirit. I really enjoy the calm that your image breathes. I appreciate your efforts about real photos. Best wishes from Greece,
