Vathi, one of the 12 villages on Sifnos, is on the SW part of the island.
From the net:
"Vathi, meaning deep, takes its name from the depth of the sea in the bay/harbor, as well as from the fact that the harbor here is situated at the low end of the surrounding area. A quiet and picturesque village, accessible till a few years ago only by boat or a trail by land, now also by land through the newly built road, The old trail as well as the new two-lane “highway” reaches Vathi through Katavati.
Vathi has rooms for rent, restaurants, and grocery shops. In the old days, Vathi was famous for its exceptionally well-made ceramic pots, which were exported to the nearby Cycladian islands, but also as far as Crete, Cyprus and Alexandria. This old tradition of pottery making is still alive in Vathi.
On the right end of Vathi's beach, the shape of the horseshoe, the church of Taxiarchis (of Archangel?) with the originality of double dome is built litteraly on the sea."

Simplicité (apparente), efficacité (certaine), résultat probant, sans nul doute !
Combinaison d'un très beau jeu d'ombre et de lumière.
Image graphique très bien réalisée.

A beautiful minimalist way to convey the minimalist cycladic architecture!

Very nice image. The way you’ve played with the lines is very nice and brings a great graphical element to the image. I also like how the golden tones breaks the bluish atmosphere bringing some warmth to it. The subtle crossing lines at the bottom are very nice. You could try a BW version with an increase of the contrast and a small reduction of the brightness as I think it work quite well.
