This is the second photo from the Holy Church of Panagia Megalochari at Tinos island.
Many people doing the way from the harbor to the church of Megalochari usually on the knees, prooving that way their faith (see another photo of mine) at the face of Panagia (Virgin Mairy) and completing their oblation to Her.
I must mention that the road who drives from the harbor to the church is a big acclivity, hard not only to walked it to the knees but walking regularly!
I turned this photo to B&W to show my respect to these people and with respect to their problem.

Well done Mpampis!
It seems we photographed the same event! See Faith Photo I, too, did it in B&W.
Watching how these people crawl to pay respect to Virgin Mary is something everyone should do if they want to understand the human character.
The shot is perfect

Fascinating tradition, and the BW has added to the spiritual feel. It also looks like someone else was taking a photo too.

Kalispere my friend, this is a very evocative and touching picture. Due to the fine compo, the crispness and the very well performed BW conversion, it's also a very pleasing and powerful one. Great job!
Regards from Rotterdam, Bert.

Also common in Spain (in another dates). Is a scene well captured, but perhaps would be more interesting see what we have at the left (more stairs) than what we have at the right of the scene (even a man taking a photo).

Hi Mpampis. A very rich frame you have here, with lots of interesting details and activities to be seen. The kneeling woman (and her shadow) in the foreground sure are a main subject, but also the other people interacting with the place and its rhythmic architecture are a good add. Nice choice with the b&w, you get a nice tonal range and reduce the possibly distracting element of color. Good work with a well-used wide angle.

A good shot M - perfect for the interesting notes. Fine details and good placement of the woman. Maybe shooting from a lower angle had worked as well. Still a well disposed compo, good choice to present in bw

Amiticalement/jr

Hi Mpampis, very mystical shot. The black and white increase this emotion. The black and white was the right choice. Really beautiful shot. Regards Artur
