Exactly what - among others - photography is for! To fix a moment, which in the next second is gone. To get a thin timeslice.
I love this photo! So how it is!
Of course, to please the technic-freaks on TE you could make this or that - I like that you don't do that.
I'd like to give 10 smileys for it...
I agree with joso. The moment has been captured perfectly. The old man is a genuine Cretan and you have done a wonderful portrait !!!
There is only ONE comment i want to make.
Iraklion and Lassithi are two close but different prefectures of Crete. So the photo had to be taken in one of them.... ;-)
Very good,I'm interested in peoples' pic because I can feel their mood.I think it's a very good because You could captuer their mood in a second!and it's a realistic sample too!

Great portrait Jeppe! I also like the story in the discussion.
Great moment.
I agree with Joso.
Wow, what a shot here Jeppe, really well seen here and taken in the nick of time, very very nice shot here and good focussing, when I first saw this I thought he was missing a nose, come to think of it, his face is strange with the glasses above his eyes.
Well done
