Photographer’s Note

I took the picture of this sailboat at the Navagio beach as it was resting on the beautiful waters of the Ionian Sea. The color of the sea is very real and what you see is what I shot.

The light blue colour of the water at this beach is not only real, but looks even a bit subdued in this picture! It's caused by the perfect white colour of the pebbles at the bottom... Good capture, lovely boat, too.

Very nice color and the framing is good although it would work even better if the sail boat was placed offcenter.

Good composition, the boat off center would be nice, but this is also okay. Nice rule of third concerning water and cliff portions.
Lovely colour of the water, but it's so natural for this place. Good contrast between cliff and water and boat.
Well done.

Hi Tony,
now I might be wrong, but when I saw this I thought it was smugglers cove on Zante (due to the shipwreck there). I say that because of the colour of the water. When I was there I had never seen such a blue. The only bigger shock was how cold the water was when I jumped in. BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
