Photographer’s Note
Monastery of Hozoviotissa clinging to the steep hillside on the southern shore of Amorgos island. A touristy shot, but having walked almost the entire length of this island in 6 hours I wanted to post one. The walk was done starting from the monastery on a trail high above the steep uninhabited south coast ending at Aegiali port. Other than a few goats I saw no living thing. The monastery is best seen from the sea, but this is difficult without a private boat as public ferries do not sail along the south coast. The island is one of the wildest in the Aegean, steep terrain prevents it from becoming a Costa del Concrete. Sorry about the poor quality of the negative and the blurry water.

Very interesting picture with good composition and exposition added by a superb blue sea and good informative notes. Congratulations ..

Hello Tan,
This is a wonderful how! What a view it must have! Its one of a kind, a real unique design. I really wish to live for a day on such a home, I might be worried it will fall any moment but its worth worrying!
Regards, Ramy.
