This picture was taken a few minutes before my previous three uploads (and just after the two pictures I posted a while ago of the Gate of Athena Archegetis:) This façade opposite the Roman Agora of Athens caught my attention and I kindly asked the friend I was walking with to hang on a minute. While I was trying to figure out an interesting composition, this gentleman arrived, offering a solution.
I can't understand a thing from the drawing and writing, any attempt is doomed but fun. I think that the gentleman's presence also creates mystery and draws curiosity as to what is inside. (Not a clue about this either).
Thank you for visiting

I like this interesting close up to mixed up urban graffiti. I'm not a fried of such artwork, except it is areal artwork, but sometimes it is interesting to see what people are able to create.
It was a very good idea to include the man in the scene. I hope that the local authorities will not suspect him, and make him responsible for this painting work.
Very well done my friend.

Also in Belgium are a lot grafitti painters, sometimes also perfect painters.
These picture shows the painter but the drawings are not of high quality.
Excellent composition, nice presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,

Graffiti corner in town, Ourania, and inspite of the strong light differentials managed to collect a good wide scope of these walls.
The man on rioght, opening his shop, gave a humen scale to the colorful wall mix paintings.
Kalispera and nice weekend,

I always find it amazing that on their own, each of these tags would be an ugly thing, a defacing of the building but somehow when they all combine together like this, they seem to portray a hive mind of the many artists who placed them here. All together they look very good, like the trains in New York. An interesting sight, and captured under a great light, the shadow in top right adds a lot.
Thanks as always

I hate graffiti when it's scribbled on the façades of the fine, culturally protected houses in my neighbourhood, but I love to take photos of walls like this far away from my own home :-). Maybe that could be called hypocrisy :-). Maybe this is not so mysterious, because there is usually little meaning to graffiti, but the shapes and colours makes it strangely attractive, especially in this light, and the man adds the human presence that I think was needed. I hope your friend didn't mind being delayed for a minute.

Talk about subjectivity, yeah? Quite a mixture of graffiti here, some of it looks purposeful, and some looks just plain useless!? All in the eyes of the beholder I suppose.
Your spot on with your note, this gentlemans inclusion into the scene immediately provokes thought...is this his residence, a commercial sight, perhaps abandoned, or is he stopping by to pick up his friends mail? :)
It also sparks ideas about the neighborhood, is this simply youth gone awry, or was there in fact, an attempt at something artistic...and where does that leave the safety of its inhabitants? So many questions from a seemingly routine street scene...but you've captured the imagination within. Let's just hope "curiosity doesn't kill the cat." :o
Enjoy the new day. All the best.

Celui ci est un peu du n'importe quoi, mais en même temps cela donne un côté imaginatif et colorées a l'endroit, belle présentation
Passer une bonne fin de journée

Of course you can t understand what is written, same happens in Buenos Aires, mainly are signs teenagers or musical groups, there is the always present hippie cross

This is really something, quite an enjoyable upload of an eyecatching unclear words turns wall graffiti an artwork! but good enough to draw attention and opens up the possibilities of many interpretations. The bright light, colours, all the grittiness make this looks attractive with the fig lends an effective reference point. Great find and so well taken, Congrats

Hi Ourania dear
The game combines the beauty of light and shadow and the added visual appeal. Nice capture of the man being locked wooden door. Exposure and visibility is good.

I commend you on this shot...this is a type of DL or street shot, not usually seen in TE nowadays...It has a sense of 'mysstery' abut what is happening & what's going to happen...in short a story you can imagine...While the graphic art is excellent and strong, the main interest for me is the man...as to what he is trying to do!
Have a great WE

A different shot from you! I like this kind of photos, the effect of the graffiti on the walls and the man opening the dood make a nice composition. That's life in big cities, it's good to go around and see it also.

The colorful graffitti there made a nice composition, with great lights, too. Good work, congratulations!
