Gracias.

Near Mykonos there´s a small island where once it was located a greek town. Ruins has something of poetry, many romantics poets love them, and it´s true that in places like this you can imagine the gosths of the past moving around you. For me the highlight of this visit was this theater with the most fantastic view. I´m not sure but I think the shows took place by night during those times. No wonder, by day the show of the nature was the real star. Thanks.

Lovely to see these beautifull remains of the ancients... In it's own way, maybe the ruins resemble the same beauty as the buildings when they were still standing... Then it was a beauty, now it is an Enigma... Beautifull Miguel! Saludos! Ramon

Wow,
Lovely landscape, Miguel!
Not only that you show a huge part of Greek land here together with the sea, but there's that amphitheatre in the foreground to remind us to preserve our land and every inch of it as it's most precious.
Thanks for sharing,
Robi

Recuerdos Miguel.

This is definetely Delos (or Dilos in greek) island! I know it for sure, cause i'm greek and i have been there twice. This is an extremely beautiful and clear panorama, bravo! I wish this amphitheatre was in better condition so that thatrical perfomances could be held nowadays as they are held at the ancient-similar amphitheatre of Epidauros. The theatrical perfomances were realised usually after sunset and there were also some light tricks with fire so that the effect was more intense. There was also a "machine" with mirrors that made fake thunders as light tricks!Sorry i cannot remember its ancient greek name right now!I'd like to see more photos from Delos and Mykonos if you have any.Thanx for sharing this beautiful one!
