This picture is a scan of a slide in 1993. This is a nice way to explore the area without getting tired ... in our case we walked!.Difficult to catch errors framing ... horse deserved better ... and do not talk about colors!.
Poros is a Greek island in the Saronic Gulf. It is close to the Argolid (Peloponnese). Covering an area of 33 km ² and a circumference of 42 km, it has (1995) 3500 inhabitants and is the essence of the city that bears his name. It is 31 nautical miles from Piraeus with which it is connected by daily hydrofoils, the flying dolphins or high speed boats, the Flyingcat (one hour) or simply by ferry (2:30, with stops in Aegina and Methana) . Poros is mostly separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow channel (pass or pores in Greek) from 250 m to 400 m wide. The crossing takes place throughout the day by boat taxis or boats equipped for vehicles.
Poros is also connected by hydrofoils and ferries to other islands and towns in the Peloponnese, depending on the season.
