At the old port of Myrina.
Lemnos is the eighth biggest island of Greece of 438 s.m. extend. Belongs to the north Aegean sea, the Thracian sea, between Agio Oros, Samothraki, Imbros and Lesvos. Lemnos and Agios Efstratios comprise the courthouse of Lemnos of Lesvos municipality.
Capital city and main port of Lemnos island is Myrina, that took the name of the king Thoantas wife. Till 1955 Myrina was named Kastro, a name that some local people use it till nowadays.
Lemnos is a volcanic island. There are no forests but there are many extensive, fruitful plains with vines and cereals. The beaches of the island are wonderful and Lemnos is ideal for calm vacation.
The basic occupations of the residents are cattle-raising, agriculture and fishing. Also tourism, commerce and nautical occupations develop also.
Lemnos produces many goods of excellent quality like: cereals, legumes, wine, figs, almonds and honey. In Lemnos island you can taste the great "Lemnos" wine, with special odor and taste. Dairy products like feta cheese, salamoura and varelaki.
The island has a lot of special fish. The rocky beaches around the island are ideal for underwater fishing.

Splendid place for drink a cup of coffee or perhaps a good glass wine out of Greece.
Excellent sight on the marina too.
But you took a very well image, pleasant for look at.

Hi Vasilis,
just before dinner? But I do not see any guest. But maybe they will come. I would come - it is so inviting - the blue tables just near the boats, you could even take a fish from a boat and ask to prepeare for you. It would be delicious.

There is very special light on this scene making it look very inviting for dinner. A great blue and white theme punctuated with some red. You have captured the lamp in a a very good place against the beautiful blue sky. Lovely work - very well done.

Per me che abito in una grande isola ...ma con numerosi porticcioli e ristoranti tra barche e tavoli ...queste foto ed il tuo titolo esaltano ...
Vorrei essere lì e se possibile tra un piatto di ricco cibo locale ...da italiano un piatto di spaghetti all'astice o aragosta ...ed un vino dei nostri antichi vitigni ...a cena 11 gradi ...ma dopo un rosso 14°

Too early for dinner at your shot, but I think that this terrace would be fully occupied later. A nice shot on this restaurant, I like the presence of this retro lamp, which gives a good depth to this beautiful image quality in both color and in the management of lights.
