What I love walking in old parts of Athens are the colorful scenes which are everywere around...Seems it's a kind of "resistance" of the old buildings against the passing of time:-)...This one, located in Monastiraki area, soon will be renovated to host the Museum of Folk Art. At the moment is closed waiting for the future works and offering to me one more photo;-)

Very characteristic shot again. This one could qualify as something sad, given the state of the building. Really quite surprising to me that something like this can still be found in Athens, and next door to a functioning shop too! Well spotted interesting shot.

Bright and vivid colours in a wonderful composition of your favourite doors and windows, George! :-)) The building looks already quite artful, decorated by the time and people in a strange but quite attractive way. Fine sharpness and light. Very well seen and captured!

Seeing the thumbnail, I thought of you, George! One of your favorite themes, door & window. Having an eye to discover even beauty in places which seems to be deserted and abandoned. Great colors; the contrast to the shop vending textiles is perfect. Well done.

Windows, doors, wood, materials, glass, paint, all seem to have had a hard life.
Love the colours and how you framed, again we are in the picture..

Again a proof of your good eye for detail, George - the faded, yet still colorful textures on the building offer an engaging photographic subject. The play of sunlight and shadow was well included in the framing; I think about 0.5 cm at the bottom could be cropped without giving away the impact. Very nice.

A scene that is so warm.Something feels common for me.But the most important is that it's from your point of view.Beautiful colours, nicely detailed composition.Seems you maneged the light very well.

Απίστευτα πραγματικά τα χρώματα Γιώργο! Πολλή όμορφη σκηνή με ζωηρά χρώματα και πολύ καλό φωτισμό! Πολύ ωραία!

Very nice photo Geaorge, I have mentioned it earlier, you have a good eye for this kind of subjects. The picture is full of details, the light and the colours are very nice and I like the battered textures on the door and wall. Well seen and captured!
