Photographer’s Note

Kandila (Greek: Κανδήλα) is a village in the municipality of Levidi, Arcadia prefecture, Greece. Situated between the Oligyrtos or Skipiza, Kyllini or Ziria and the Trachy mountains. As of 2001, it had a population of 846 for the village and 898 for the municipal district. Not far to the northeast is the Corinthia prefecture.

A fine presation of this superb valley , with beautiful contrasts of colors : all these red roofs in the green vegetation . The inclusion of the little white chapel in the composition is excellent .

Geia sou Vasilis, the religious grotto on the right is well placed in this lovely panorama of Kandila. Again, the depth of field is superb as are the colours especially considering the strong light you were shoting in. Nice work, TFS and have a wonderful day, Lisa

Hi Vasilis,
There is a fine diagonal orientation of the houses below and the white chapel gives a good indivcation of the depth. All the red roofs are an important part of the picture.

A bit more sharpness would be nice,but I like the composition with this white tower and the view down at this wide valley.
Must be a nice area for trekking.

An interesting elevated view of the village!
Inclusion of the white shrine makes the composition original and creates depth in the frame...

Hi Vasilis, nice view and good shot! But I want to view more size of the photo without frame. I'm not a fen the frames in this site because 800pix is to small for photo and frame for me.
