Photographer’s Note

It was a nice afternoon (4:53) in Thessaloniki, nine days before Christmas .....
[Thessaloniki is a historic city in Greece. In the long course of history found in the possession of various peoples and became the place where many nations converged. Between 1912 and the end of the First Balkan War is the second largest city of the modern Greek state is today the largest city of Macedonia and capital of the region of Central Macedonia, with a population of 800,764 inhabitants 2001.
The formation coincides with the beginning of the Hellenistic period, the withdrawal of the worldwide empire of Alexander the Great by his descendants and the dominance of Greek culture throughout most of the known, then the Western world. The heir to the kingdom of Macedonia and the wife half-sister of Alexander the Great, Cassander, founded the city, uniting 26 townships, located around the Thermaikos bay and gave the name of his wife, daughter of Philip II, Thessaloniki (name which came after a successful battle over Thessaly).
Today Thessaloniki is one of the most important Balkan and eastern European centers for study with three universities, and made efforts to regain its former role as a center of the Balkans.]
Now you tell me that what I write is not related to the photo!
Just ask a small (large) reference to the city I took the photo and I love her so much!
Thank you.
