A farewell milestone Photo

Photographer’s Note

NO POINTS PLEASE!

A solid two year presence on TE and a storm of warm feelings and creative thinking are swarming. A very special experience thru which I have matured in photography and have certainly profited from all of you. Precious, irreplaceable friendships that were created and people I came to know, all of you that so nicely have led me to this point.

But time has come for other directions. I have been quite busy lately and have fallen behind in leaving critics to so many beautiful creations by all of you and I don't feel I can keep up with it any more. I will continue to post on facebook for a while.

If you happen to be in my area I will certainly be very happy to show you around. You can contact me at: azaf1@otenet.gr and be sure that you will get a reply. Have a nice rest of summer and keep posting.

Your note leaves me shocked Argiris because you may or may not have written critiques as often you wanted to but I was sure you'd atleast be seeing some of the images that I posted from time to time.
I know, after a while we all get a little tired of the routine...but why dont you take a little break instead of going away?

I understand your feelings... that I share too. Really beautiful shot to express the time, the wind, the harvest... For sure, I keep your email adress and I hope one day to go to Volos and to Pelion mountain. I'm sure I will be happy there looking for birds, plants, insects... and meet you and your family, students and discover this famous city of Volos. My Greek teacher said it is the best city of Greece! Personnaly, I just update my profile in a similar way. Se xairetw,

Hi, Argiris..It's so sad to read those words.. Anyway, I'd like to thank you for your nice friendship in this site, encouraging me with your nice critiques, and giving me the chance to see that old house and to hear about its old interesting story. If you ever think to come and see your old Kouvouklia again sometime in future, please be sure that it will be our pleasure to welcome you and your family here in our town, with my family. This wonderful shot is very meaningful but has really a sad atmosphere being a farewell photo. We'll miss your shots. TFS and have a nice lifetime.

Hello Dear Argiris,

I view this beautiful image with intense ambivalence. I just returned from my trip to the Mediterranean to find this shot, which you essentially claim is a swan song. Even the manner in which the stalks of grain are leaning evokes the words, "Gone with the wind." I hope you will still find time, as I plan to do, less frequently, but at least without depriving us all of some of the finest image we've come to expect on Trekearth. Bonsoir,
belle photo de ces herbes hautes légèrement couchée vers la droite.
Jolis effet donné par ces nuages qui forment de jolis dessins dans le ciel.
Jolies couleurs, bon POVde bas qui donne une bonne importance a ces herbs et au nuages.

Η παρούσα φωτογραφία είναι πολύ δυνατή!
Έδωσες τον καλύτερο εαυτό σου για να ντύσεις με το συναίσθημά σου την γύμνια του σκηνικού. Ξεκινώντας από πολύ χαμηλά πέρασες μέσα από τα στάχυα για να φτάσεις στα ουράνια!
Δραματική απεικόνιση των στοιχείων της φύσης που θέλουν να καθηλώσουν την ζωή, την δημιουργικότητα!
Ο άνθρωπος πάντως αν και πολύ “μικρός”, έχει αποδειχθεί ικανός να ξεπερνάει τις δυσκολίες και να χαράζει πορεία ιδανική και ανάλογη των περιστάσεων.

Χαίρομαι που σε βλέπω να δημιουργείς, αργά και σταθερά!
