Photographer’s Note
In the past Samos had many shipyards in various areas such as Pythagorion, Kokkari, Karlovasi, Marathokampos bay, Agios Isidoros, etc. The wooden boats that were manufactured in Samos were considered to be the best in the Aegean because of the Samian pines -that were used for the manufacture- and their great resistance to the sea water.
Today there are only two shipyards on the island, one located in the Port of Karlovasi, and the other in Agios Isidoros.
The yard of Agios Isidoros consisted of many small businesses, but today only one remains. It is constructed in the bay of the village, an area of incomparable natural beauty.

Hi Antonis,
very good POV for a wonderful panorama, I particularly like this blue, seeming to be endless...
