Photographer’s Note
Endless summer
I travel,
deeply in the oblivion of memory
in the heat
of a forgotten summertime...
Photograph
in old drawer that smells sea,
saltiness,
of an other season
I travel,
in old time wherry
behind the depth of time...
steps in the sand
became map
of an endless summer
that still I am looking for...
A poem by Happysad

Hi Thomas,
An unusual and very interesting POV. I like the good diagonal formed by the wood bridge that leads to look at the boats. People humanize this scenery.
Have a nice week

Geia Sou dear friend,
b/w is a good choice for this particular one because it is such a strange picture this mixture of a baby so interested in the pier, with those big boats in the background, In spite of these presences, the baby is completely assorted in his discoveries, giving the picture something poetic.
So, the monochrome picture will always help concentrating on the scene in itself and on its meaning, and not on everything that surrounds it.
The note is your trademark.
Compliments.

Hi Thomas,
A strong return after one month absence. Black & White isn’t the most obvious choice in combination with the summer, but here it certainly works in combination with the poem.

Hello Thomas,
Well considering this photographic opportunity with this footbridge and boats. The kid is more who attracts the glance. Excel black and white. Cheer.
Have a nice day

Hi Thomas.
I see that you are a master of black and white. This image is excellent, I mainly like the contrast between the figure of the child (and the other human figure too) with the silhouettes of the great vessels.
Congratulations for your great job.
Best regards.
Bobo.

Kalispera Thoma,
Tremendous depth and storytelling in this very fine picture/poem combination, file mou. I love the strong diagonal formed by the pier and the symbolic presence of the kid. And the set of grey tones and busy lines makes it a very much appealing graphism too!
Have a great weekend,
Bert

Hello Thomas,
This is a fine composition, the wooden pier takes me right to where the action is!
The black and white treatment is well done, the contrasty tones enhances the scene and sets the mood...
Good details, well framed!
