Photographer’s Note
Indeed a very strange couple. They are selling pistachio in Monastiraki square close to the Flea Market...Both of them has unique look...I did ask them for a photo and they posed like this. The guy looking at the camera and her... continuing peeling her cucumber:-)...Well street photography always can provide such interesting themes!

Worthwhile asking, you got a good pose from them. In fact, until I read the note I wasn't sure if it was a pose or not, they both look very relaxed. Looks like an odd place to set up the stall, I'm surprised the cafe owner didn't object.

Hi George
Excellent daily life shot from Greece. I like the warm cold opposition of colors.

Nice photo George, I like their relaxing expression. The red colour works well as a backround, it bring out the couple. Well captured!

Nice street scene of this delightful couple, George. They look quite at ease and natural as they are sitting in front of the umbrellas and flea market setting. Lovely capture of the moment from Athens. Did you buy some pistachio after shooting? :-)

What I like here, George, is the way that they look so comfortable with the presence of your camera, and seems that they do not care about it at all. I think that in this type of photgraphy, the hard part is to deal with your "victim" in order to ahve him in the correct mood. Well done.

Very intersting indeed Georges. Again for me this is an unsual scene. I like the fact that they are not both looking at you, it make for a more natural daily life shot.

Maybe she's asking her partner: Do you understand why this guy wants to take a pic of us???
Great "normal" street life, George. On the contrary to the couple and their vehicle, the sunshades give the background a red veil, perfect!
