Meteora, what a place.

There is only one way to express its beauty: Go and see it by yourself. It is really amazing, at least for my taste.

We were too late this day, so the monasteries were closed and we just enjoyed the view and the landscape of Meteora.

Hello Sakis! Das kann ich nachvollziehen und ich glaube ich koennte gleich losreisen und in diese fantastische Welt eintauchen. Toll diese felsige Welt und ich finde es gut gewaehlt, dass Du keinen Himmel zeigst, wird sind so mittendrin und nichts stoert und wir fokussieren total auf dieses Kloster im wunderbaren Licht. Hallo Sakis,

es hat einfach was, und schon all die Jahre die ich´s auf all den Fotos sehe..(das erste mal bewußt Ende der 70er auf einem Rallye-Foto, als die Griechenland-Rallye dort noch Station machte..), eine unglaubliche Magie.., leider hattte ich bei unserer Durchfahrt Richtung Pilion keine Zeit für einen Stop..

aber das werde ich noch nachholen..

Hi Saki,

One day....one day i will go there and try to make also such a stunning shot as you have here but i hardly doubt if i come home with the same high quality as you present here. Man it's a great shot, look at that warm light hanging on the wall with some green in front. You have found a great pov and were at the right time of the day with perfect light.
I have seen a lot of stunning shots from Meteora, some were too good to be true, but yours is also high class.........indeed, what a place..!!!!
