The port of Volos is also very active with daily schedules to the islands of the Sporades: Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos. Volos is a necessary stop on your way to Pelion which is situated just next to it. From Volos you can sea the Pelion villages perched on the pine-covered mountains. It is an agreeable spectacle especially by night when only their lights can be seen.

The town of Volos is also interesting from a cultural point of view. There is the Volos Archaeological Museum which contains finds from the surrounding areas that ere dated from the Bronze Age to the Hellenistic period. The Municipal Gallery also is of interest. It is housed in the Town Hall and exhibits a collection of paintings and sculptures by Modern Greek artists

Really beautiful simplistic photo, the reflection of the sun in the water is perfectly positioned at 1/3 and just between the two boulders on the shore. TFS and have a nice weekend!

simple and very powerful, like that it is this composition, in which you have played only with the beauty of the sunset, the golden tonalities, the reflections of the sun on the water, and both rocks in foreground.

This is a truly beautiful photograph. I like the way you have cropped the direct sunlight out but concentrate on the sunlight on the water formed such a straight dagger to the cleft in the foreground rocks. Beautiful composition which allows the subtle graduations of light and colour on the water to shine

Hello,

We are often seeing boring sunset shot, because bringing no originality. But here, mainly with the point of view, you got this originality. We could feel the rock was broken by a golden sunray.
