here GR music Beautiful Catherina

Oh my beautiful Katerina(my lovely Catherina)

The moon is going for a stroll,
It sees the soldiers coming out,
The evening is so beautiful,
Here in Athens and Piraeus.
Chestnut sellers now have left us,
and the north winds now have gone,
There from frosty roots of winter,
Peeps out one anemone.
-O my lovely Katerina,
Pretty goldfinch of my garden,
Open up your loving arms,
And your rosy eyelids warm,
So I can run upon the sand
And the sea shores of your body.
Many sea shells, little pebbles
Under moon and stars of sky.
-The organ grinder's on his walk,
His cart adorned from top to toe,
And there a young lad drinking in,
The golden sun of pretty girl.
And now a nicely cooling wind,
Like sun tanned face of sailor man,
It blows along the narrow streets
And brightens up this dawning day.
-O my lovely Katerina,
Pretty goldfinch of my garden,
Open up your loving arms,
And your rosy eyelids warm,
So I can run upon the sand
And the sea shores of your body
Many sea shells, little pebbles
Under moon and stars of sky.
