THIS IS POEM "MAY'S DAY" IS WRITTEN BY GIANNIS RITSOS

May day you abandoned me
a May day I lose you
spring my son you cherished it
and you were coming up to

The sun room and you gazed at
and with no end in sight
you used to milk with your two eyes
the light of humankind

Narrating you were to me
sweetly warmly and mannish
what not the number of the sea
shore's pebbles do not suffice

And you were saying all of these
goods will be our own
and now you're gone and burned out is
the fire and our glow

και τώρα εσβήστης κι έσβησε

Un giorno di Maggio mi hai lasciato
un giorno di Maggio ti perdo
in primavera, figlio, la primavera che amavi
e solevi salire

Sulla terrazza a guardare
e senza poterti saziare
succhiavi coi tuoi occhi
la luce del creato.

E mi raccontavi con voce
dolce, calda e virile
tante e tante cose che non bastano
i ciottoli della spiaggia.

E mi dicevi, figlio, che tutte quelle cose,
così belle cose, sarebbero state nostre,
e ora sei spento e si sono spenti
la nostra luce e il fuoco.

poesia bella e commovente, a cui hai abbinato una foto altrettanto suggestiva e piacevole. Anche se ci sono i bellissimi fiori in primo piano, la sensazione è di ampio spazio. Complimenti, un ottimo lavoro.

Mmmmmm...probably a more wider view will be better for the picture. Anyway, the colours and the contrasts are excellent!

Καλημέρα και Καλή Πρωτομαγιά Κώστα!
όλα του Μαγιού τα λούλουδα μέχρι και τα γ/άγκαθα σε πλήρη ανθοφορία. Ο ουρανός βοηθάει στο όλο σκηνικό και το ποίημα επίσης βάζοντάς μας στο πνεύμα της Ανοιξης!

bellissima immagine accompagnata da parole commoventi. Mi piace davvero molto il forte contrasto dei fiori sull splendido cielo. Anche l'inquadratura che dà molto risalto al paesaggio in primo piano è notevole. Bravo, buon primo maggio anche a te.
