Hi Hercules,

Spectacular view of this amazing perched village and its location. This nightscape makes the village appears even more isolated, far away from everything. The colour of the sky is breathtaking and we can feel the mist over the sea.

The little glowing church is a cool and nice detail.

Those little white towns are definetely beautiful, even more when you choose to photograph them at blue hour where the little houses create such a wonderful contrast.
Also the little lights, the curvy roads and the mountains are wonderful and complete well your composition.

Εξαιρετική λήψη που χάρη στη διαύγεια της ατμόσφαιρας γίνεται οξύτατη (κριτήριο είναι το πόσο βλέπουμε τη Σίφνο).Το χρώμα υπέροχο.Για όσους έχουν ζήσει τη Σέριφο η φωτογραφία αξίζει πολλά.

Hercules Hello,
I am really jealous with your "deep blue" Aegean photos. I wish to learn the tecnique. I spend lots of time at the Aegean coasts on summers, I see the very similar landscapes,but never able to get a color like this.
Is it the timing? tecnique?light?equipment?talent?or all together I don't know, but I want to make my own photo like this someday:))
In this photo I particularly enjoyed the colorful church at right in the middle of the white houses.It is very nice and softly illuminated.

Υπέροχη και αυτή η φωτογραφία σου. Αρχικά με χάλασε λίγο το πολύ μπλε της φωτογραφίας κυρίως στα πίτια που τα έχουμε συνηθίσει λευκά. Τελικά όμως οι χρωματικές πινελιές στην κεντρική εκκλησία δεξιά και στην προβλήτα νομίζω πως συμπληρώνουν χρωματικά το θέμα σου. Οπωσδήποτε δε η θέση λήψης είναι φαντασική και πρέπει να σε απζημίωσε για το πολύωρο περπάτημα.

This is a pleasant scene; the moment of capture was good because of the reasonably soft light and resultant colour range. i like how the typical white houses stand out of the blue hue of the scene .

That's the first time I see the effect of a foggy and humid atmosphere on the propagation of blue light in blue hours. What's more important is how the colors of the mountain and of the vegetations are clear, with minimum lights. I assume that you took this at an early time of the blue hour.
