Fira, Santorini
Fira is a Santorini's main commercial town, just ahead of Oia in activity and commerce. The town dangles over the edge of the caldera and every few steps yields a different view of the architecture and beauty.
Fira is fun to explore during the day and beautiful at night. The town can get quite busy, so staying there may be louder than other towns along the caldera. The walking trail from Fira to Imerovigli is well worth the time to explore, especially if you end at the Skaros promentory for sunset.
