It's less about a special place, but more about a feeling, connecting me to Greece, the Kykladen islands and the Aegean sea.
For a "landrat" like me it was amazing, exciting, relaxing - no matter if we lay in a small lonely bay, or struggled with the waves and wind, braking the wheel...
I'm not very satisfied with the sky, every idea or WS is welcome.

Very good action shot, Janos. The wave splash is rather exciting to see. Well done.

Interesting composition. The wave spalsh makes this shot dynamic and it balances out the composition.

I like the feeling of excitement and "being there" that this shot exudes, JŠnos. You have been lucky to capture the splash of water at just the right fraction of a second. Well-chosen title.
Upon your request, I have attempted a workshop ... feel free to let me know how you think it turned out.

Great title Janos - the line of the handrail against the horizon and the crash of the wave make an exciting image. The deep blue sky gives a sense of place too - imagine this with an overcast sky, would give a very different feeling.

I do hope to feel some of this adrenaline next autumn. Maybe even in the same seas.
This shot allows to feel at least a small part of this excitement of being on board of a yacht and preparing for a new turn. The splash is excellently caught.
But this strange stepped gradient in the sky is really strange. Is it because of some postprocessing?
Though Norbert's WS corrects this issue very well.
Well done, Janos, and well done, Norbert :)

Effectively showing the action and drama of the situation, like an aftershave commercial ;) Lovely diagonal lines leading to the action. A featureless sky is always a problem when a photographic opportunity presents itself. You did very well I think.

Wow again :-).....this photo does an amazing job of conveying that rush of adrenalin as the sailboat dips and carves its way through the wave while the unseen sail above bulges full with the wind.
As a whitewater canoe enthusiast, I know the feeling you must have felt as you charged through the water. Well done Janos!

Very good composition that reflects speed and great sailing at the best. Well done Janos.

What a shot !... Taken with only one hand I guess ! ;-)
The final result is very efficient, I like this angle. Great pic Janos !
