Photographer’s Note

Yes, this is Oia, Santorini.
Believe me, one of the most amazing places of all Greece, all the Mediterranean and all the world.

If you go to Santorini, the most important you need: confortable shoes (you are going to do long and long walks), a good camera and a tripod (maybe these last two things are the most importants).

The place is amazing and beautiful. And you will fall in love.
Also important: this is not Port Aventura... but somehow it is very similar (anyway, beautiful).

I hope you like it.

PD: and I use this photo to say that maybe I will do a little visit to Greece this very month

I may visit this place next year...
It is extremely photogenic. I like your shot it has not only white and blue but also some other colors. Nice point of view, I like having multiple layers here.

me gusta la fotografía porque mezclas la vida cotidiana de la isla con el resto de los edificios, los turistas que están por todos los lados, los gatos y los colores que en esa isla, no sé por que, son bien especiales!

Nice colourfully picture with the old buildings as subject, also the blue dome is nice.

algun dia ho veuré personalment.....Santorini està pendent a l'agenda.
M'agrada com has destacat la nitidesa i els colors de la seva arquitectura tradicional, amb el dinamisme de la gent, davant d'un fons del paisatge mig difuminat per la boirina.

Esta decidido! Tengo que ir a Santorini cuando esté en Creta el próximo Agosto! Y cuando le muestre a mi hijo tu nota (el adoró Port Aventura el año pasado :-), el va quedar aun más curioso acerca de esta isla.
Lograste que el tiempo nublado que puse el cielo blanco no estropease la foto. Además de los colores fuertes e calientes de las casas y sus formas muy mediterráneas, me gusta la presencia de las personas e de los gatos.

Hola Coco, Principe de Cocoland,
Me enamoré de Grecia la primera vez que fui allá en 1971. Después, trato de ir allá cada año, pero no tengo éxito siempre. Santorín es una de las islas donde todavía no fui porque no quiero ir allá en julio o en agosto. Y luego, cuando se sabe que va a enamorarse, que es ya enamorado hay que prolongar el placer.
¡ Pero espero no morir antes!
Esta foto es extraordinaria... posiblemente una mezcla de colores andaluces, pero esto lo sabía, lo que descubro, es la proximidad de los acantilados en segundo plano. Los acantilados juegan con las paredes, el mar juega con la cúpula de la iglesia y yo, descubro un lugar sin embargo 10 000 veces fotografiado sobre TE.

yes i agree, this place is amazing. Wonderful narrow streets, architecture,views and restaurants. Santorini has a lot to offer for most people.
