Hello everyone,

Today I post other pic from Santorini, I took it early morning...
The island of Santorini Greece or Thira is located in the Cyclades islands, in the middle of the Greek Islands of the Aegean Sea. It is, along with Mykonos and Crete, the most famous holiday destinations in Greece. It is a small group of volcanic islands and its name refers to to Saint Irene. The island was also called Strongili and Kalisti and was the site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in the world but what remains today is a submerged volcano and a caldera.
The island of Santorini is related to the myth of Atlantis, the amazing views from the villages of Fira, Oia perched on cliffs, the sunset, the black and red beaches, the wine...

La isla de Santorini se encuentra en las islas Cíclades, en el centro de las islas griegas del Mar Egeo. Es, junto con Mykonos y Creta, el más famoso destino de vacaciones en Grecia. Se trata de un pequeño grupo de islas volcánicas y su nombre se refiere a Santa Irene. Hi Sergio,

Excellent capture. Few people would think of taking a picture like this and would have waited until the sun was a bit higher in the sky but here with all the white buildings it works really well. A really fine picture a really good photo work. TFS and have a nice evening!

Hi Sergio,
It is interesting to see Santorini in such a muted early morning light. So often, photos of this place showcase a strong daytime sun or one of those famous sunsets. However, I like the blue tones that are revealed in this kind of light. It is as if the city is still sleeping--the image is very peaceful.

lo forte blanco de las casas en la sombra parece estar iluminado por la luz de la luna, me gusta lo contraste que esta parte hace con la parte iluminada por el sol. imagino como este local deve ser muy hermoso.

That's my favourite kind of coastal composition, very simple but very evocative. This is beautiful and also impressive view. Your composition is just...perfect! It's a quite paradise I think. Well done!

It is another eutiful photo. I think if I leave there maybe I'll have Acrophobia. The houses are sou close to the cliff. I saw that is almost none trees in this city. did you know if they have problems with rain? Here in Brazil many people the built their houses in places like that the remove of vegetation reduce the water drainage causing the collapse of many houses.

I like the light on the background. Nice work.

Le soleil est à peine levé et la majeure partie de la ville est encore dans l'ombre. Le regard aime se promener sur les maisons, les falaises et la mer.
C'est magique !

Sergio,
Beautiful morning light, I like the blue tone over all the white buildings. Even in the shadow, the house are nicely captured with details. The light bring out some of the warm tone to complement and contrast the light blue. Nice composition, the gradiant is not as smooth, the transition is rough, I can see the bans of colors.

Yo creo que es uno de los sitios más fotografíados de Grecia, la verdad es que tiene un gran atractivo con sus bonitas casas blancas colgadas literalmente sobre el acantilado. Magnífica perspectiva y una luz muy agradable.
