A charming terrace, a photo from Kyklades, South Aegean

Photographer's Note

Parikia is the capital of the island of Paros, the city seduces at first sight. Do not leave indifferent the contrast between the white houses, the colors of the oleander, bougainvillea and hibiscus scattered everywhere and which are painted blue domes of the churches.

The Venetians built kastro reusing the materials of the Classical age in the thirteenth century, when they were in possession of the population, are the ruins of a tower, from this part of the population there is a good view of the bay.

This lovely terrace in the center of town, was an ideal place for a break, while having a beer mug.

Parikia es la capital de la isla de Paros, la ciudad seduce a primera vista . No deja indiferente el contraste entre las casas blancas, los colores de las adelfas, las buganvillas y los hibiscos esparcidos por doquier y el azul con que se pintan las cúpulas de las iglesias.

Del kástro que los venecianos construyeron reutilizando materiales de la edad clásica en el siglo XIII, cuando se encontraban en posesión de la población, quedan las ruinas de una torre, desde esta zona de la población hay una buena vista de la bahía.

Esta encantadora terraza, en el centro de la población, era un lugar ideal para realizar un descanso, mientras tomábamos una jarra de cerveza.

Hola Luis,
estas terracitas son deliciosas, situadas en un entorno siempre muy tranquilo y muy agradable. Solamente verlas, a uno le apetece sentarse ahí a tomar un café o un aperitivo, según la hora.
En este buen encuadre consigues darnos esta sensación de querer estar allí ahora mismo, gracias a una composición muy rica gráficamente, con una luminosidad muy agradable y unos colores fantásticos.

Lovely corner in a Greek typical white village, Luis.
I like the unique paved floor.

Good Morning Luis,

I can understand why you were attracted to this liocation for a beer. It would have attracted me, too. It is so typically Greek, so welcoming and cosy.
Youe pov adds a welcome to the viewer by the beckoning chairs and the empty table. The angle produces a natural movement across the frame from left to right.

là, j'ai vraiment envie d'aller manger an amoureux à une de ces tables vraiment accueillante, quel bel endroit!! Romantique, propre et net. Il méritait une toute bonne photo. Les couleurs sont superbes surtout les teintes olives.
