Soft Pink On Blue, a photo from Kyklades, South Aegean

Photographer's Note

An isolated little chapel at the very edge of the town of Oia in Santorini, Greece. The soft pink tones of the bell tower standing out proud against the blue of the sky and deeper blue of the Aegean Sea. The Greek island of Ios can be seen in the distance.

hi brian, what a view overlooking the sea on such a wonderfully clear day. the colours are bright and vibrant. superb sharpness. the pinks and whites contrast wonderfully well with the dark blues of the sky and sea.

As always a clear, sharp shot with great colour contrasts; penicillin pink and deep blue!

Always a very geometrical aspect to the shapes in your compositions. A beautiful place.

I really like this tight frame, which gives due attention to the little church but full rein to that marvellous blue sea. The colours of the flowers and the uncommon pinkish tones complement beautiful the dominant blue and whites. Thanks for sharing, have a beautiful day.

I love this small chapel with its pink and white tones, which is outlined between the flowers and the intensity of the blue of the sea, with a great graphical efficiency and with its great beauty.
