Sunset through a derelict abandoned building near the famous windmills of Mykonos. At right is Little Venice (not visible here) which I may upload a shot or 2 of later. Mykonos town is well worth a day or 2. I never went to the party scene beaches on the south coast, and northern beaches are in the direct path of strong winds during summer, so I didn't go there either.

Beautiful! Great use of the ruins to frame this sunset. Love the warm golden colors. Good dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.
The storm really hits home literally, most of my relatives are in the Visayan islands and having live in New Orleans for 10 years I know the pain they are going through. So far most of my relatives survived the disaster.

Using the arch to frame the sun is a good idea. The distance between the arch and the horizon is giving depth to the composition. The sunset is nice colors to the sky. Have a nice day.

Tu as trouvé un cadrage original pour ce coucher de soleil. Bonne maîtrise de l'exposition qui permet de garder des détails dans les murs de pierre.

ahh! a Mykonos sunset. So irresistible especially from this famous location. A real sense of the end of a warm Greek sunshine day with the smell of oregano and sweet wine beckoning. Beautiful and magical!

Your note made me laught, so you didnt go neither one side, nor the other?, I believe Miconos was so amall you could walk crossing it easily
I am a great fan of natural frames if they are creatives like this one, well composed with the sun going down but not in the midlle (learning)
Greetings, well done

A beautiful sunset taken in my favorite style, a frame within a frame. Very nicely done! (When you post photos from the Aegean, I am easy to please.)

A very romantic and tranquil image, with beautiful pinky-orange tones in the sky. I like the partial silhouette, although I think here an entire silhouette would have had greater impact. The ruins have that flat grey colour where unless you're merging 2 separately exposed images, is bound to have due to the strong sun in the BG. But in any event, it's very attractive and complements the other photo you posted of Little Venice.
Thanks for sharing, enjoy your weekend

Bon moment capturer du soleil cadrer entre les l'architectures de vielles pierres, un contre jour excellent qui permet d'apprécier les détails des vielles pierres

You select an excellent pov to place the sun in that entrance door of Mykonos ruins, it's the end of a day of visit, superb monument, fine sunset colors and beautiful old stones, all the best, have a good start of week
