Mykonos island

Mykonos (Greek: Μύκονος) is a Greek island and a tourist destination, renowned for its cosmopolitan character and its intense night-life. The island is part of the Cyclades, lying between Tinos, Siros, Paros and Naxos. It spans an area of 105.183 km2 (41 sq mi) and rises at an elevation of 341 m (1,119 ft) at its highest point. The island is composed primarily of granite. It has little natural fresh water and relies on the desalination of sea water in order to meet its needs. There are 9,320 inhabitants (2001) most of whom live in the largest town, Mykonos, also known as Chora (i.e. the Town in Greek, a common denomination in Greece when the name of the island itself is the same as the name of the principal town), which lies on the west coast.

It is believed that the island was named after a local hero, who is considered an offspring of the god Apollo and was worshipped locally in antiquity

This places is so photofriendly and you really knew how to captured it in a magnificent way!
Sharpness, exposure and colors are excellent!
The point of view was superbly chosen and the composition is effectively wonderful, with quite eye-catching results! Those tables and chairs in the fg and those windmills in the bg, together with a pretty nice sky have created a very interesting, enjoyable and beautiful picture!

This place is wonderful. I like your framing with a great depth and perspective. The tables and the chairs in foreground invite us to enjoy the sight on the sea, and the white and blue architecture offers us a perfect Mediterranean atmosphere. Hi Danos,

The windmills in the background are assets to the composition. The prsence of the people has an effect od scale. The tables and the chairs in the foreground are framing well the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving depth to the photo. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Your picture, in particular the brilliance of the white, attracted me to it. If I'm not mistaken there is a very light reddish hue. Could be the result of the upcoming sunset, because even the clouds have a reddish tint. Sharpness and DOF are great. Well done.

So close to the sea and you are there, lucky man you are. What a beautiful day, lovely blue sky with nice clouds. Sharpness and clarity in not as good as some of your other shots but this made up by the good composition and attractive light and scenery. Such an inviting POV. I jus twant to go and sit down on one of them chairs and have lunch and nice cold drink. When will I be there? Soon I hope.

A marine landscape which must give appetite !!! I remember the beautiful sight of our friend Marie (Focal distances) on the place but from another point of view and at another hour of the day, here I notice a rather strong light which you marvelously managed. Well, I think the tourist office or this restaurant should pay you for this picture! Who wouldn't want to eat on this terrace, so close to the sea and with such a beautiful view on the windmills and on the hills!
The windmills in the background give a really good effect as if they made a crown on the scenery!
I like this great POV and the bi-colour photo! Everything is white or blue!
