In the fields of a Santorini farm, sits an isolated little church, typical of many that are scattered all over the Greek islands. This beautifully kept church, lies on the outskirts of the village of Akrotiri which is in the southern half of the volcanic island of Santorini. It has a commanding view of the sea and the whole surrounding area and the small islands of Christiana.

Thank Goodness this little church has such tiny little windows otherwise I could imagine that the congregation would spend most of their time gazing at the wonderful outside views rather than listening intently to the sermon!
Set like a jewel amidst the rather barren terrain, this beautiful little church stands out perfectly in its bright paintwork against the land and sky.
Gorgeous bright sunshine, lovely vibrant colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

What a delightful little church that sits so well in this ochre toned landscape. I like the point of view with the bell tower making a fine focal point for the eyes moving across the frame. A pleasantly lit image with very good colours and clarity. I wish you a pleasant weekend to come.

I can see that a greek architecture is beautiful and this beauty you have transferred to your image in a superb way. Wonderful blue colours white walls of the church, contrasting with a little warm colour of the road. All together gives superb effect!

Greek church are so beautiful with their blue and white colors! I like the composition, the position of the church in the picture, and, as usual, the vivid colors.

Très jolie chapelle en bleu et blanc. Une photo aussi réussie techniquement que belle esthétiquement.
