Photographer’s Note

The beautiful bay of Symi town, the island of Symi. The ships go to Symi everyday from Rhodes harbour.
A must see really.

The island lies 40 kms north west of Rhodes in the Dodecanese, and is approximately 13 kms in length and 9.5 kms across at its widest point. The long deep harbour is like an amphi-theatre, with multi coloured two and three storey 19th century neo-classical grand old houses of the former sponge trading merchants, and churches with coloured domes tiered up the steep hillsides.

Excellent pano with the big cruise ships and the girl sitting looking out to the scene.
Wonderful array of blues and yellows with perfect clarity and sharpness. Very good scene and well captured Romana.

Great panoramic image: the strong blues against the soft colour of the houses works very well. Great detail on the village on your large version! Also, the pov was well chosen.

Very nice LP, I like here how the curve starts from the little girl and the background is first class, this image delivers a very vivid impression thanks to its good quality and especially the strong contrasts.
