I think you should give less colours in your composition.

This is a fantastic blue hour shot! Your blending of natural and artificial lighting is magnificent here creating a very appealing photo. Your composition is fine showing the harbor in the foreground with the great mountains in the background.

Γεια σου Ηρακλή
Αν και αρχικά μου έδειχνε πολύ σκληρό το κοντράστ, τελικά ψάχνοντας την φωτογραφία μου φαίνονται όλα καλά, με πολύ καλές λεπτομέρειες στα κτίρια και υπέροχα χρώματα (τα έντονα δεν με πειράζουν) στις υπόλοιπες περιοχές.
Προσωπικά θα έκανα desaturate τα σκιερά σημεία των κτιρίων για να φύγει το πολύ μπλέ.

İt's even not one month since I left Symi, but you made me homesick with this wonderfull nocturnal capture.
Very nice light control and perfect compo, with great notes.
I can hear even the music coming up the hill, from Manos's restaurant at the little harbour !

Kalispera Hercules.

Pues mañana me voy a otra isla. A Menorca.
Estando en Mallorca pensaba: como de diferentes son a las islas de las cícladas o del golfo de Sarónica.
Y la verdad, haciendo la comparación, Mallorca perdía de goleada.

Por cierto en Menorca seguro que no encontraré la oportunidad ni el lugar de hacer nada parecido.

Y de la foto no diré nada. Total, solo podría decir que para mi ésta es una de tus mejores fotos al menos en los últimos meses... lo que es decir mucho.

Hello Hercules,
Definetely Greece is an outstanding country with a natural beauty that makes it seem so easy to take breathtaking photos such as this one.
The tones of this one are beautiful with the yellows coming from the city lights and the blues at the background.
The marina and city rising up the hill are for sure the main points but the natural beauty behind the hills competes well with them to 'win' the 'beauty contest' here.

I am totally impressed by the illumination of light colors here. Well chosen exposure, your 26 secs really helps here and that blue water is really an eye catcher. Great shot Hercules.

Every photo i see from this island makes me fall in love more and more with the place. I think Symi is the loveliest Greek island for my personal taste.
And you are one of the responsibles for this love :=)
Maybe, i and some friends may take a boat tour to the Kyklades this August. Not certain about the details yet (we still have another plan to realize), it is just an idea for the time being. I wish Symi was also in the Kyklades rather than Dodekanisos :))
