Unlike the east, the west coast of the island of Rhodes is almost desert.On this side of the island exposed to the winds, the sea is always rough and there are no sandy beaches,but the water show beautiful colors.

A differenza della parte orientale,la costa ovest dell'isola di Rodi è praticamente deserta.Su questo lato dell'isola esposto ai venti,il mare è sempre mosso e non ci sono spiagge sabbiose,in compenso si possono osservare dei colori bellissimi.

strane cose succedono...l'avevo già commentata...riprovo...
il grigio delle sterpaglie contrasta benissimo con le tonalità blu, un inquadratura millimetrica e piacevole, ottima profondità con dettagli chiari sino in fondo, sarà anche la parte ventosa ma senza gente è uno spettacolo....

Luciano, you live in Lombardia or in the beach?I only see pics and pics of wonderful beaches and no one of the Ticino!!!! Better for me, when i go to Somma i'll shoot it and i wont have competition....:)

beautiful landscape and great title.Ha,ha I was expecting something more like Arizona,Grand Canyon style:)But seriously the view is magnificent.Raw,poor nature and beautiful,blue sea.I like especially the strong color contrast between them.Well composed and framed scene.

Hello Luciano,

The distance on the beach gives deepness. The colors in the water are nice to see and make up for the plain landscape. The white surf adds an interesting contrast.

Wow. Superb view of the coast. Rhodes is a very beautiful island indeed. This diagonal compo gives an interesting dynanism to the pix which is much more emphasized by the foam and movement of the waves.
The perspective is wonderful and the color tones of blue make a very attractive composition.

Hello Luciano,

I enjoyed exploring the island. If I remember correctly, it was on the west side that the wonderful butterfly valley was situated.
You have reaaly given a true representation of this island for anyone who has never been. The contrast of rugged coast and soothing aqua blue sea is there to absorb.

Did you go right down to the tip of the island where the Mediterranean breaks on one side and the Agean Sea on the other. That was a contrast!

A wild and natural coast, is a beautiful composition with these rare plants and the deep blue sea, I like the large DOF of the composition, with the view that other coastline in the background.

La distance entre la plage et l'horizon donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir la beauté de la plage et de la mer, un endroit relaxant. La bonne luminosité met en valeur la beauté des couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Hai ragione! Questo luogo é veramente selvaggio ed intoccato. In confronto dei colori vividi e l'architteture dell'isole, é un altro mondo. Non ci vediamo questo spesso questo lato di Grecia, quindi grazie per la condivisione. Hai fatto bene con un paesaggio e luce difficile da gestire.
