Photographer's Note

A view from the port of Lakki, outside of its cafe'-restaurant, to the marina and promenade of the town. The long building across the sea was built during the Italian occupation of the Dodecanese and served as barracks for the Italian navy and army. Today its ground floor is being used by several departments of the Municipality of Leros.

I hadn't been there so early in daytime before, since the boat arrives and departs at different hours. I enjoyed seeing there was life in the port at this hour too, liked the colours and the blue sky.

Thank you for visiting
