Photographer's Note

This picture shows a reflection of a side window on the floor of Leros Airport.

The Municipal airport of Leros lies in Partheni, at the north of the island. It was constructed in 1984 and has a 14/32 airfield 1015 m long. For many years, it was used by DORNIER 228-201 aircrafts of 18 seats but since 2005 it received Dash 8-100 aircrafts of 37 seats and today there are 11 flights a week with Dash 8Q100.
Leros is connected with Athens everyday and with Astypalea, Kos and Rhodes a couple of times a week.
The airport building was renovated and (reasonably)expanded in 2005.
