Masterfully applied this photo, with exquisite clarity and managed well the strong light condition.
Excelent contrast between dark and lightened areas on pic. space.
My cong.'s, have a nice weekend,

hello, an interesting composition with nice minimal effect. The ropes added graphism to it. A great sharpness achieved that we can see every detail of the rope. Great colour contrast. Overall an excellent one. Tfs.

A well constructed still life. Stanchion post and rope make for an interesting subject with their varied tones and textures. The image is well lit and has very good clarity.

Hello Ourania,Great still life photo, and good, and relevant comment!
Well perhaps Still Life is wrong, the rope is almost moving in the picture!

Il n'est pas près de se libérer de ses liens ce petit bateau. Mais peut-être n'est-il pas intéressé à le faire, tant qu'on est sur une eau aussi calme et chaude.

I would be prone to agree with Alekos about that, all of the shots you post have such incredible light, and it does make everything glow. At first glance, this scene made me think of a drunk octopus, but that probably says a lot about me :)
All the best

Already catching just a glimpse of this photo I instinctly knew it was yours. Maybe the Greek light sent me a signal, maybe it was the original and tasteful composition. I love the patches of faded red and blue and the ropes twisting and bending every way.

Effective tight framing on the boat with wonderful warm color contrasts between the red and blue. Good sharpness and superb colour and saturation. Excellent graphism density and levels yet still with a good exposure on the highlights and nice shadow detail. The dark and white tones in contrast add graphism. Have a great weekend!

It takes an appreciative and creative eye to see beauty in the ordinary Ourania. Here you show a very good example of how an everyday object can be elevated into something that has presence. The textures, colours and light all seem to speak of Greece and the maritime location. A shot that tells its own story. Have a lovely weekend. Rosemary

Oh yes, it's all about the light here. I love that warmth and the way it illuminates the colours and textures of the dock. The rope adds more texture, aswell as another element of interest. Your marine themes are always interesting to see, and this is particularly beautiful.

I quite agree with Sayın* Fassianos and you have taken a fine example. However, I am not too sure as to what went on around that bollard further away. I am going to pretend it is spilled paint and not innocent blood.
* a Turkish title which can conveniently be used for male and female, relieving the speaker (author, in this case) from having to guess gender.
