I spotted this detail yesterday as I was sitting on a bench on the long quay of Lakki and talking with a friend while waiting for my bicycle brakes to be fixed at the "historic" bicycle shop on the other side of the street, behind us.

A lovely shot of the small detail often missed in the overall view. That rusty colour where the water has dripped off the railings is a great highlight and gives the fence and rocks great contrast.

Comme tout se trouve dans l'œil du photographe, je trouve cette composition originale et bien réalisée. J'aime aussi ces belles taches de rouille qui donnent un accent de couleur.

First, maybe you buy new bikes... but the reason it was broken - was to let you find an artistic point of view along the promenade... otherwise you hadn't be able to take this...
Nicely applied, rust spots made another color added to the image.

Hi Ourania,
This show has a lot of nice elements, that tie together into a very enjoyable and straightforward shor. My eye is drawn to the rust marks on the ground right away, there is always something I find so appealing about the colour and texture, but of course the shadow and deep blue sea are also cool. Well seen :)

Most of the time we tend to overlook the simple things which is unfortunate because there are beauty in them and presents a good opportunity for simple but beautiful composition. Very nice capture of this iron railing and its shadow to form a symmetrical composition. Good lighting and sharp details. Well done, tfs.

Καλησπέρα Ουρανία,
Απόλυτη συμμετρία της σκιάς του κάγκελου. Μου αρέσει η λεπτομέρεια με την σκουριά που έχει μείνει στο δάπεδο χρωματίζει όμορφα την σύνθεση. Το μόνο που προτείνω είναι ότι θα έκοβα την θάλασσα και θα άφηνα το σημείο από το κάγκελο και κάτω.
